Spring Break at the BFK!
March 24 – March 30
To celebrate spring break in Appleton and surrounding school districts, we’re having a special theme for each day between March 24 and March 30! Discover the exciting themes and activities we have planned below:
Monday, March 24: Dino Day
Explore the word of dinosaurs by digging for bones, uncovering fossils, and cracking open eggs! We’ll have a dino scavenger hunt and plenty of dino-themed activities.
Tuesday, March 25: All Things Clay
Create beautiful clay art with assorted tools and the pottery wheel. Make pinch pots or coil pots and sculpt the day away!
Wednesday, March 26: Spring Maker Olympics
Join our version of the Olympics, which will include an egg drop challenge, balloon cars, ping-pong, a racetrack, a boat challenge, and more!
Thursday, March 27: Fresh Foodies
Make and take fresh food like pesto, salsa, and bread dip. Plus, enjoy bread from Voyageur’s Bakehouse to go along with it!
Friday, March 28: Papermaking
Throughout the day, you’ll have opportunities to make paper in The Lab and use it to create artwork in The Studio.
Saturday, March 29: All Things Clay
