BFK NEW YEAR
Tuesday, December 31: 9am – 4pm
If you have kids (or even adults) who won’t quite make it until midnight on New Year’s Eve, we’ve got you covered at the Building for Kids! We’re hosting BFK New Year on Tuesday, December 3, a celebration to ring in the New Year with fun, family-friendly activities planned throughout the day. We’ll celebrate with countdowns, ball drops, confetti tosses, and parades around the museum 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. We’ll also have New Year themed activities like making musical instruments and noisemakers!
Regular admission prices apply. No preregistration is required.
CHARACTER PLAYDATE: ELEPHANT & PIGGIE
Friday, January 17: 5 – 7pm
Best friends Elephant & Piggie are returning to the BFK! Join us on Friday, January 17 from 5 – 7pm for an opportunity to meet these popular storybook characters while enjoying pizza, playtime, storytimes, themed activities, and plenty of photo opportunities.
Tickets are $5 for members and $15 for non-members.

BUILDING FOR GROWN-UPS: AGENTS + ALIASES
Saturday, February 1: 6 – 9pm | Event for ages 21+
Join us for Building for Grown-ups: Agents + Aliases, the first in our 2025 series of adult-only nights at the BFK!
Your mission during this spy-themed event is to activate your inner child while participating in themed activities, enjoying a cash bar and snacks, and playing in our exhibits. Activities include:
- Spy-themed trivia
- A scavenger hunt
- A DJ & dance party
- Invisible ink in The Lab
- Build-Your-Own Gadget in The Studio
- Mad Libs
Come dressed as an undercover agent (whatever that means to you)!
This event cost $20/person is for ages 21+. A physical ID is required to attend.
