A Place Where Kids Play to Learn, and Learn to Lead

2016-2017 Educational Field Trips for Preschool through Grade 4

Healthy, well-adjusted, world-is-your-oyster kinds of kiddos. It’s your goal. It’s our goal. Let’s work together on making it happen.

Our learning experiences are hands-on, open-ended and self-directed. They align with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction curriculum standards and the Next Generation of Science Standards.

They’re also irresistibly fun.

Discover how The Building for Kids Children’s Museum can become a part of your curriculum and classroom.

Play is a vital platform for healthy development. It opens the mind like no book can. It invites connection while fostering autonomy. And it lights a fire in every kid’s heart to never stop questioning.

That fire is why we exist.

We offers specially designed exhibits, programs and events that empower children and energize communities. Our interactive exhibits inspire, teach and reinforce curiosity.

Add one of our Discovery Classes to your day for hands-on activities in science, technology, geography, math and literacy. We offer everything from machines and matter to the Cat in the Hat.

Field trips are for groups of 12 or more, and for children who attend public and private schools, childcare agencies, licensed daycares, or are affiliated with established civic or home-school organizations.
